Community Services

Funded by the local community, local school district or local library, bookmobiles visit 9 communities in the county. The bookmobile is stocked with a wide variety of materials for children and adults, and provides many of the same library services available in a stationary building.

Requesting service for your community

We are ready to add community always stops to our schedule. We provide service as a branch of a local library or as the local library in communities without direct library service. There is a fee for service, with the cost directly related to the length of the stop. For further information, please call us at 412-321-1853.
